Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez did the lie detector drinking game

Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino quipped that his Ngayon Kaya leading lady Janine Gutierrez is a “professional liar.”

Paulo and Janine once again brought “kilig” vibes to their fans through the lie detector drinking game that they did on RecCreate’s YouTube channel. The onscreen tandem answered questions prepared by the organizers and if they lied, they had to drink.

Paulo answered all the questions “truthfully” as the device did not indicate that he lied. However, Janine experienced the opposite. Every answer that she said was indicated “lie” by the machine.

One of the questions that were asked was if she ever imagined having a relationship with Paulo Avelino. The actress answered, “Yes, of course. Syempre nag-shooting tayo.” However, she was shocked by the lie detector device. With this, Janine Gutierrez said, “Sana nagsinungaling na lang ako [para] hindi ako napahiya.”

The actress insisted that she was not lying and she explained that it is normal for actors to use whoever and whatever is in front of them in bringing out the true emotions required from their characters.

With that explanation of Janine, her leading man said, “Spoken like a true professional — professional liar.” The actress laughed at this.

For Paulo’s part, he was asked if he thought that he and Janine will be close to each other. He answered and added, “It’s just something you know when you meet each other.”

“See, that’s the truth,” he said to Janine as the device indicated that he was not lying. Janine Gutierrez also admitted that she admired Paulo Avelino as an actor. She said that watching him when she was younger made her aspire to do well in acting.
