Here’s the heartbreaking story of Cheng in It’s Showtime segment “EXpecially For You”.

IT’S SHOWTIME – “EXpecially For You” searcher Cheng shared the story of her 7-year relationship that had a heartbreaking ending.

There’s no amount of anything can cure the pain of losing someone in the most unexpected time. It’s always easier for others to say to move on and heal but they do not what happens in between. The way memories will flow like a river with strong current – you have to deal with it’s strength and suffer from the pain.

It would take a lot of years and the pain is not going to go away. It is going to stay and you’ll just get used to it.

In the recent episode of It’s Showtime, searcher Cheng broke lots of hearts. She shared her story “EXpecially For You” about how her 7-year relationship with Russel ended unexpectedly.

They did not breakup. He died and with the seven years of being together, it felt like there’s nothing that could ever break them anymore but the universe has a different plant for them.

“Noong time na ‘yun wala akong masabi sa isip ko kung ‘di ‘Russel, mahal na mahal kita.’ Paulit-ulit ko po ‘yung sinabi sa kaniya hindi na po ako makapagdasal,” she shared.

During that time, she held on to what they say that last thing to go away from a person’s dead body is his sense of hearing. What she did that time was whisper to him how much she loves him. She was telling him to not forget her.

As she navigated a life without him, his family was also with her.

“Siya ‘yung pinaka-greatest gift ko na na-receive ko from the Lord. Feeling ko po si Russel ‘yung iniwan Niya sa akin sobra-sobra. Kasi kahit na wala siya, ‘yung pamilya niya po andito pa rin po sa akin,” Cheng shared.

When he left, she realized that perhaps, they were given a chance to be together early on in their lives as they were not meant to grow old together.
