MJ Lastimosa had no idea about this rumor

Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa reacted to being rumored as one of the “kabit” of businessman Philip Laude, the husband of socialite vlogger Small Laude.

To recall, netizens talked about the screenshots that circulated on social media from a certain Precious Mae Larra who was claiming as Philip’s mistress. Amid this issue, social media personality Xian Gaza shared posts about the Laude family.

It was said that Small already knew about her husband’s affair but they wanted to keep it a secret for their family’s image.

Based on the article in Bandera, MJ Lastimosa was also dragged into the issue. It is because one of the screenshots showed an “MJ” initial and netizens that it was the former beauty queen.

In a recent interview, MJ was asked about this and she was surprised that there was an issue about her. “Wala akong encounter with them. Yung first and last encounter ko with them was in LA (Los Angeles) nu’ng na-invite ako sa mansion nila. Pero after that, wala naman,” she said.

She also asked the interviewer what happened or if she was the reason for jealousy. “Ano ba kasi ang ginawa ko?” she said laughingly. Then, it was mentioned to her that the clues were “maitim at dugyot.” “Hoy, grabe naman yung maitim! Kahit maitim, hindi ko siya ikinahihiya. Kaya nga nagbi-beach pa ako para umitim pa lalo!” she quipped.

She stressed that she and Philip do not know each other personally and she kept on asking if she was really being dragged into the “kabit” issue.

Then, MJ shared that she had seen posts being tagged to her but it was about Mary Jane Veloso and not about the issue involving the husband of Small Laude.

Meanwhile, MJ Lastimosa is happy to be part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital featuring Enrique Gil, Alexa Miro, Jane de Leon, Rob Gomez, Raf Pineda, and Zarckaroo. She shared that she had a wonderful experience doing this meta-horror film.
