Sunshine Cruz admitted that she once regretted being a hubadera or bold star.

She said that it was a big part of her separation from ex-husband Cesar Montano.

“Did you regret that you did sexy movies,” Boy Abunda asked Sunshine on the “Fast Talk” program this Thursday.

“There was a time when I regretted that, especially since it was a big part of our separation from my ex-husband but at the end of the day I became stronger, I learned more and all I did, Tito Boy, was prove to people that I’m not just a sexy star or bold star,” Sunshine said.

“I can also be a singer. I can be an actress and most especially I am a good mom… We all make mistakes, we make wrong decisions when we were young but what’s important is who we are now,” she added.

Sunshine and Cesar were married in 2000 but divorced in 2013.

Sunshine filed for annulment against Cesar in April 2014.

Four years later, the Quezon City regional trial court approved Sunshine’s annulment petition in September 2018.

Sunshine accused Cesar of having an affair in 2013, which was followed by complaints of domestic abuse, which included marital rape and lewdness in front of their daughters.
