The Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime continues to dominate the noontime ratings, comfortably outpacing its long-time rival EAT… Bulaga.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, It’s Showtime has maintained its strong performance in the ratings game despite issues surrounding its broadcast renewal with GMA Network.
On Monday, December 2, It’s Showtime hit a notable high with a 9.0% rating, leading EAT… Bulaga by a significant margin of 5.0%, as the latter recorded just 4.0%.
On Wednesday, December 4, the Kapamilya show rebounded slightly to 7.3%, extending its lead as EAT… Bulaga dropped marginally to 3.6%.
By Thursday, December 5, It’s Showtime experienced a minor decline to 7.2%, while EAT… Bulaga remained steady at 3.6%.
On Friday, December 6, It’s Showtime recovered with a 0.6% increase to 7.8%, as EAT… Bulaga slipped to 3.5%.
However, on Saturday, December 7, It’s Showtime saw a slight decrease to 7.6%, while EAT… Bulaga gained 0.4%, rising to 3.9%.
The show’s strong performance extended into the following week. On Friday, December 13, It’s Showtime earned 8.0%, decisively beating EAT… Bulaga, which garnered 3.7%. On Saturday, December 14, It’s Showtime posted a 7.4% rating, maintaining a lead of 3.7% over its competitor’s identical 3.7%.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN announced on Friday, December 20, that It’s Showtime will continue airing on GMA Network throughout 2025.
