Kris Aquino Is Still “Frail, Fragile, and Fighting Everyday”

According to RB Chanco, Kris Aquino is still very sick but still fighting.

After years, RB Chanco had Kris Aquino made up and in a post, she has this to say after doing her makeup for her first public appearance.

On the same day the 39th EDSA People Power Revolution was commemorated, Kris Aquino made her first public appearance many years after she lay low due to her declining health. She attended the People Asia’s People of the Year 2025 event with her friend fashion designer Michael Leyva.

As much as we all know, Kris has multiple autoimmune conditions such as autoimmune thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, Churg-Strauss syndrome, systemic sclerosis, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis. The seventh one was Fibromyalgia and despite her disorder adding up in number, she remained resilient and strong and was even looking forward to working again.

A lot of people miss her but what they wanted for now for her is to recover.

RB Chanco, in a post, shared her thoughts after doing her makeup for her first public appearance in years and she was emotional. Doing her makeup was something she hoped to do but, at the same time, something she feared might not happen again.

“Kris is still very sick—frail, fragile, and fighting every day—which made every makeup product and brushstroke feel like a risk. With her severe allergies and flares, I was terrified she’d react, especially since she hasn’t worn makeup since her health declined. But by some miracle, her reaction was minimal, and that alone was a huge relief.”

Although brief, the effort she exerted to make an appearance was enough indication that she is still there and still fighting.

RB hopes that it was the start of the many more times she’ll be able to do her makeup again.
