Alden Richards, Kathryn Bernardo More Comfortable Talking Now

Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards compared their closeness when they filmed “Hello, Love, Goodbye” and “Hello, Love, Again”.

Countless people await the release of Hello, Love, Again, the sequel of the 2019 hit film Hello, Love, Goodbye starred by Kathryn and Alden. It was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and it was the highest-grossing movie until January 2024.

In Hello, Love, Goodbye which set a record, Kathryn Bernardo played the character of Joy, a nursing graduate who worked as a domestic helper in Hong Kong. Alden Richards played the role of Ethan, a Pinoy bartender in Hong Kong.

Joy and Ethan fell in love with each other but she was firm on her dream to go to Canada. While he initially hoped that she would change her mind and stay with him, he needed to let her go for her to achieve her dreams.

The ending of Hello, Love, Goodbye left a lot of lessons to the viewers most especially about letting go. It also sparked excitement for a part two of the movie to know what happened to the characters.

Thus, countless people got excited when Kathryn and Alden were confirmed to be making the sequel of HLG. Its part two entitled Hello, Love, Again will still be directed by blockbuster filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Sampana.

The teaser of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ Hello, Love, Again was released and the movie is expected to hit theaters on November 13. During the filming of the movie, ABS-CBN News has talked to KathDen.

During the interview, KathDen was asked about their closeness now compared to when they did Hello, Love, Goodbye. Based on a report, both Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards affirmed that they are closer now and they are more comfortable talking to each other.

According to Alden, he and Kath talk to each other whenever there were just the two (2) of them. He admitted that they now know each other more and they didn’t have much chance to talk during the filming of Hello, Love, Goodbye.

“Mas comfortable, mas familiar like I said, ‘yun ‘yung parang nagiging way namin to make this film even more effective than the first part,” the Kapuso actor said.

Based on the report, on the part of Kathryn, the Kapamilya actress cited that there is really a huge change due to a different set up and working environment. She admitted that they are “very comfortable” now and they can talk about anything.

“Mas nakilala ko na over the years so if we’re talking about comfortability, nandu’n kami sa stage na very comfortable na we can talk about anything,” she said.
