Karylle opened their deeply personal entry suspended in the air, wearing an angel costume, and singing a song she wrote for her late father, Modesto Tatlonghari.
Ryan followed Karylle’s number with a performance dedicated to his parents and the dinner they had earlier this year as a complete family.
Vice’s performance came soon after, where he did an interpretative dance mirroring all the obstacles he experienced throughout the 15 years of “It’s Showtime.”
After the their individual performances, Team Vice put their performance to cohesion by bringing SB19, Carlos Yulo, and Awra Briguela on stage, with SB19 singing a different rendition of their song “Liham.”
Team Vice’s performance holds an important message of hope. According to Meme, it was inspired by Karyll, who just lost her father, when talks of Magpasikat first floated in August.
Vhong Navarro, Amy Perez, Daren Espanto, and Ion Perez will take on Wednesday.
Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz will take the stage on Thursday.
Team Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez will present the performance on Friday.
The judges for this year’s “Magpasikat” performance include Gabbi Garcia, Donny Pangilinan, Alice Dixon, and former president of ABS-CBN Freddie “FMG” Garcia.
Best of luck, Team Vice!
