Vice Ganda announced one of the projects he will do this year
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda is set to do a movie with award-winning director Jun Lana this 2024.
Vice has been doing blockbuster comedy films for many years. His films have become a staple in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) every December. However, last year, the comedian-host opted not to do an MMFF entry.
Back then, he said that he was planning to do a movie that was set to be released in November but apparently, this plan did not push through.

This year, the fans of Vice Ganda will surely celebrate his return to the big screen. The last movie he did was in 2022. It was the movie Partners in Crime that was part of the MMFF that year.
Just recently, Vice was one of the guests at the 20th anniversary celebration of celebrity couple Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas.
During that event, the It’s Showtime mentioned that he would do a movie with Direk Jun Lana, based on the article in ABS-CBN News.
“Napanood ko kasi yung movie niya, yung ‘Kwentong Barbero’, eh meron akong project with Direk Jun. Sabi ko ay sakto, eh Jun Lana baby siya, so sabi ko sana sa next project ko sabihin ko kay Direk Jun magsama na kami sa next project ko,” Vice shared.

The comedian-host was talking about the 2013 film of the award-winning director. This film bagged different recognitions including the Best Actress award for the lead actress Eugene Domingo at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda became a trending topic just recently with his fellow It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis because of their banter on air.
Vice made Anne say his McDonald’s tagline “Nice Ganda” amid the fact that the actress is a known endorser of the rival fast-food chain Jollibee.
