Songbird Regine Velasquez shares thoughts about being a fan of Kim Chiu.
REGINE VELASQUEZ – Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez is a fan of Kim Chiu and this is the reason why she became a fan.
“Its Showtime“ host Kim Chiu previously appeared in Magandang Buhay as a guest. In this interview, she talked about her life as her family’s breadwinner and in a previous article, she even got emotional when her siblings surprised her.
And in the same interview, one of the hosts, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, shared that she has always been a fan of the actress. Although she’s the older one between them, she is a fan because she inspires her.
Ever since she was young, she has always been a fan and by being a fan, she agreed to sing the theme song of her 2011 television series My Binondo Girl. Back then, she was still with GMA but she agreed to sing the theme song because she is a fan.
The Songbird shared, “Kinanta ko talaga iyon kasi fan na fan ako. Tapos yung gustung-gusto ko talaga siya. I just wanted to sing the theme song of her soap.”
Moreover, apart from that, when she was pregnant with Nate, the actress was her pregnancy craving.
She also feels like they are “beshie” or really close when she finally met her. “Nakakatuwa, nakaka-proud” she quipped and even her husband Ogie Alcasid attest to the kind soul of the actress. Kim and Ogie are co-hosts of the noontime show of ABS-CBN.
Regine and Kim also get to work together in ASAP, a variety show that is aired every Sunday.
