VICE GANDA – Celebrity couple Vice Ganda and her husband Ion Perez got inked with matching tattoos and here’s the story behind it.
It is no secret that Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda and Ion Perez first met on the former’s talk show. And their paths crossed again after Ion became a regular at the noontime show It’s Showtime where the comedian superstar is a regular host.
Their light banter and naughty exchanges on national television had everyone shipping them.
Until everything turned real. They initially kept their relationship a secret but on the last day of It’s Showtime’s 10th-anniversary celebration, they finally confirmed what was already obvious.
Fast forward to 2021, they had a commitment ceremony in Las Vegas where they vowed to “commit themselves to each other”. And recently, in a new vlog, to show how clingy they are towards each other, they had themselves inked with matching tattoos.
The Showtime host got five small tattoos on each of their fingers. The concept of their tattoos is that they will match when they hold hands or put their fingers together.
“Since we’ll be partners for life, itong markang ‘to ay for life na rin at wala nang burahan,” Vice said.
They got a tattoo on the base of their thumbs where Vice had the words “I am” on hers, while Ion had the words “with you” – when read together “I am with you”. On their forefingers, they had a smiley face and the words “king” and “queen” on their middle fingers.
On their ring fingers, they put two halves of a heart and “for” and “ever” on their pinky fingers.
According to Vice, marriage has brought his life a different kind of joy. To recall, their commitment ceremony in 2021 was a non-legal marriage.
