At the end of It’s Showtime’s 13th anniversary on Saturday, November 19, 2022, Vice Ganda sent a heartfelt message to co-host Vhong Navarro.
The It’s Showtime co-hosts were unable to join Vhong on their anniversary because the comedian-TV host is in jail due to the rape case he is facing.
Vice said they remember and pray for Vhong every day.
They also hope to be with Vhong on the show again.
Vice’s full message: “Vhong, we will never forget you. Every day, we remember you.
“And every day, we pray for you. Every day, you are one of the wishes we give and whisper to God.
“We are with you here and excited to have you with us again because we know you will be with us.
“We love you very much, Vhong Navarro.
“The success of [It’s] Showtime then, now, and will continue to be its success in the future, is with you, Vhong Navarro.” Meanwhile, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) released a brief statement on their Facebook page.
This is about the transfer of Vhong from their care to the Taguig City Jail at Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, this Monday, November 21, 2022.

The statement said: “After completing all the required health protocols, actor Vhong Navarro has been transferred to the BJMP in Taguig City at about 4 o’ clock this afternoon
Vhong was released from the NBI Detention Facility on Taft Avenue in Manila at around 3 p.m.
Vhong will not be immediately transferred to the cell with other inmates because, according to an official from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the actor will still be subject to a fifteen-day quarantine.
This will depend on the threat to Vhong’s life inside the cell.
On November 15, the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69 issued a commitment order for Vhong to be transferred to the Taguig City Jail.
This is for the rape case filed against him by Deniece Cornejo.
