Paulo Avelino is now being linked to Rhen Escano

Talent manager and online host Aster Amoyo reacted to the rumors that actress Rhen Escano is the “secret girlfriend” of actor Paulo Avelino.

Paulo was previously linked to Janine Gutierrez when they worked together in the Kapamilya series Marry Me, Marry You. When his series with Kim Chiu, titled Linlang, was gaining popularity, they were linked to each other and this even hyped up when they worked together in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?

Paulo and Kim’s tandem is now called KimPau and fans have been very supportive of their projects and different showbiz engagements.

However, a rumor recently surfaced that Paulo Avelino has a secret girlfriend and that it is not Kim Chiu. The actor is now being linked to Rhen Escano and reportedly, the actress received bashing from KimPau fans because of this rumor.

In a recent interview by Bandera, Aster Amoyo, the manager of Rhen, reacted to the allegation against the actress.

The talent manager denied that there was something going on between Paulo and Rhen. Aster even pointed out that the two are not close and she can’t remember that they were together in an event.

She also mentioned that as Rhen’s mother, she is considering the actress as her daughter and it is hurtful for her also to hear or read negative comments against the actress.

“Basta siya na lang pinagdiskatahan, na siya raw ang secret girlfriend ni Paulo, na hindi naman,” she said.

Aster said that she has no idea how the rumor against Rhen and Paulo started, and what was the motive behind this. As a talent manager, she said that she is not intervening with the love life of the actress but the negativity against her online is already too much. She said that Rhen is already receiving below the belt comments online.

Aster mentioned that even scenes from Rhen’s movie Adan are being circulated online which for her is inappropriate. “Bastusan na eh,” Aster said about bashing against Rhen.

The talent manager asked the fans to know the truth first before attacking Rhen Escano. She said that the actress is already affected by the bashing she receives online for being linked to Paulo Avelino.
