Anne Curtis retweeted a video clip featuring scenes from her old teleserye

Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis recalled her Imang character in the defunct series Kampanerang Kuba.

The said Kapamilya series aired from June 6 to December 16, 2005. It featured a star-studded cast including Luis Manzano, Christian Bautista, and Patrick Garcia. The series was based on the 1973 film of the same name featuring Vilma Santos and Edgar Mortiz.

Kampanerang Kuba is just among the many TV series projects that Anne did under her home network. In a recent Twitter post, the It’s Showtime host reposted a tweet from a fan.

“Nakakamiss ka naman Imang!!!” the fan of Anne Curtis wrote. The actress-host shared that this is one of her favorites.

“Awwwww Imang! One of my most loved characters on TV [white heart emoji],” she wrote in the caption of her post. As of writing, this video clip already has almost 89 thousand views.

 

“Ang nag-iisang Dyosa pa rin for me!” Twitter user @raymdizon commented. To recall, Anne also did a fantasy series titled Dyosa back in 2008. Her leading men in the series were Sam Milby, Zanjoe Marudo, and Luis Manzano.

Some fans commented that they hope to see Anne in a teleserye soon. Just recently, the actress-host announced that she will be doing a new movie with director Erik Matti. One of Anne’s recent statements that caught the attention of many netizens was her answer when asked about Eat Bulaga.

The Kapuso show is airing on the same time slot as the Kapamilya show It’s Showtime. Even though they are rivals when it comes to their timeslot, Anne Curtis still has good words for the other show. She said that they would always look up to Eat Bulaga.
