Among the celebrity couples who officially tied the knot this year are Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde. It was last March 25 when Zanjoe and Ria got married at an intimate civil wedding ceremony that gathered their immediate families.

The civil wedding ceremony of Ria and Zanjoe were followed by a reception that gathered several celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry. Prior to their wedding, there were already rumors and speculations that the actress is pregnant.
Rumors had it that the wedding proposal of Zanjoe came after they knew that Ria is pregnant. Gela Atayde, the sister of the actress, debunked the rumors that her sister is pregnant with Zanjoe. According to her, the couple was really trying.
The wedding reception of Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo was star-studded. Among the celebrities who graced the celebration of their union were Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Joshua Garcia, Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing, Enchong Dee, LA Tenorio, Dominic Ochoa, and Darren Espanto.
On Father’s Day in June, Ria confirmed her pregnancy with Zanjoe when she greeted him on Father’s Day. The actor responded to the announcement of his wife through a sweet post.
In a post on social media, Zanjoe told Ria that he and their baby are lucky to have her. Ria’s mother, Sylvia Sanchez, described the actor as a really good husband to her daughter.
