Kim Chiu – Did Bakeshop In Davao Intentionally Covered Her Face In The Tarpaulin?

Is it intentional? This bakeshop covered the face of Kim Chiu.

ABS-CBN actress-host Kim Chiu is the endorser of this bakery, but following her intriguing spiels, some people in Davao did this.

A candid and simple spiel was blown out of proportion, and this involved actress-host Kim Chiu. In a previous article, her “Dasurv” spiel caught attention online, and some assumed she alluded to former president Rodrigo Duterte.

At that time, Duterte was arrested as ordered by the International Criminal Court. The arrest was in relation to EJK, the crimes against humanity of his war on drugs that caused the death of many innocent people.

Chiu immediately cleared the air and reminded people to fact-check before reacting. According to her, she was just reading the script written for her, wherein a part of it said:

“As for their feelings that the right time has not yet come for them, all we can say [is] they deserve… Wait, I’m not done yet—you deserve to get back into life!”

Some people assumed that the way she stressed “dasurv” was the same as talking about how Duterte “deserved to be jailed”. The supporters alleged that her lines carried a veiled jab at the embattled former leader.

Previously, she urged the public to verify information before making judgments. She explained that the statement was part of the script and was unrelated to any political figure or event. All she did was read the lines assigned to her.

Recently, following the clamor, a bakeshop where she is one of the endorsers allegedly intentionally covered her face in the tarpaulin. It was at a branch located in Indangan, Davao City, and it appears that she’s the latest target of criticism from Duterte supporters.

People online expressed how disrespectful it was, especially doing it to the personality who officially endorses their brand.
