Bianca Gonzalez is now known as the main host of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’

Kapamilya host Bianca Gonzalez spoke about her first Pinoy Big Brother hosting without the former main host Toni Gonzaga.

The Kapamilya reality show featured Willie Revillame, Mariel Padilla, and Toni as the hosts of the season premiere. Later on, the Ultimate Multimedia Star became the main host and new co-hosts were added.

For the longest time, PBB featured the trio – Toni, Mariel, and Bianca. However, Mariel left the show and did some other stints. In 2022, Toni resigned as the main host of the reality show, and this position was given to Bianca with co-hosts who were also former housemates.

PBB’s Gen 11 edition was recently concluded. After this season, Bianca Gonzalez shared her “essay entry” on her Instagram page. She said that this particular season is challenging for everyone as it happened after the obstacles that the Kapamilya network went through.

It was also a challenge for them with fewer staff members and less airtime. She said that the viewers might just be seeing the hosts onscreen but it takes a hundred people to run this kind of show.

In her post, Bianca also admitted the pressure that she felt as Toni is no longer part of the Kapamilya reality show. “I didn’t tell anyone, but I felt the most massive pressure this season—who wouldn’t? To do our first season without Toni, who is the face of the show and only one who can do it the way she does, is no easy task,” Bianca said.

She also said that she tried her best to host the show as authentic as she could to honor the housemates and give justice to the hard work they exerted. As a host, this stint was made extra meaningful by her co-hosts Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, Melai Cantiveros, and Alexa Ilacad.

“They are some of the BEST in the industry and I learn so much and are so inspired by just watching them shine,” Bianca Gonzalez said, adding that her team also did a great job in supporting her.
