Noontime viewership appears to have slowed, as both It’s Showtime and EAT…Bulaga reported lower ratings.

 

 

According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, while overall noontime ratings showed a downward trend, It’s Showtime remained the timeslot leader, consistently outperforming EAT…Bulaga.

On Monday, August 5, It’s Showtime recorded a rating of 7.6 percent, securing the 8th spot on the overall ratings board. Meanwhile, EAT…Bulaga registered a rating of 3.6 percent, landing at number 16.

On Tuesday, August 6, It’s Showtime saw a slight dip, dropping 0.2 percent to 7.4 percent, but it maintained its 8th position on the ratings board. In contrast, EAT…Bulaga improved by 0.3 percent to 3.9 percent, moving up two spots to rank 14th.

By midweek on Wednesday, August 7, It’s Showtime bounced back, rising to 7.8 percent and climbing to the 7th position. However, EAT…Bulaga dropped back to 3.6 percent, slipping to 17th on the chart.

On Thursday, August 8, It’s Showtime experienced another decline, falling to 7.4 percent and dropping three spots to 10th place. Conversely, EAT…Bulaga improved by 0.4 percent, reaching 4.0 percent and moving up four spots to 13th on the ratings board.

Can these two programs bring back the normal higher noontime viewership in the coming days?
